The efficient movement of freight to, from and around Tasmania is important to keep the state moving.

We provide policy advice on freight issues, and provide access solutions to ensure the safe and efficient movement of freight across the road network, and through our key air and sea ports. In an emergency, we support freight supply chain security and resilience.

We work in partnership with agencies, industry, and local governments to coordinate and maximise freight movements.
