Network planning and performance

Through network management, we collaboratively identify, prioritise, and provide delivery oversight of transport opportunities across the state. We look to apply best practice transport infrastructure solutions, being open to innovation and new technology.

We operate the Traffic Management Centre to support daily traffic movements, and during times of emergency, in our city centres of Hobart, Launceston, Devonport and Burnie.

We review transport corridors, identify gaps in transport planning and work with stakeholders to recognise data sharing opportunities.

We identify improvements for roads, bike paths and signage to encourage better mobility for people, goods, and freight.
